1996

Maxtag UK Ltd started trading

Got our 1st order. A big one to start, we protected the Channel Tunnel duty free store in Folkestone

1997

MaxTag UK Ltd moved into our first business premises in Reading on The Kings Rd

Took on our 1st additional sales representative and 2 x install engineers

1998

Moved into warehousing at Kuehne and Nagel with our own warehouseman

The first quarterly MaxTag magazine sent out to all customers and prospect clients.

1999

Took on an additional 2 x sales representatives along with 1 additional engineer

2000

MaxTag first ever website launched

Managed to secure two huge retail clients in Sports Soccer/ Sports World / Sports Direct and H&M

2002

Took on an additional sales representative, 2 x install engineers and an administrator

2005

Maxtag moved into a 7000 square metre warehousing with offices attached in Suttons Business Park.

Employed an additional warehouseman and we took on our first apprentice trainee.

2007

Took on an additional 2 x sales representatives and 1 x engineer

2008

By this point we had 12 engineers, 5 x administration staff and 5 x sales representatives

Started to wrap the engineers vans with MaxTag written all over them. Proving great advertising

2008 - 2018

Company continued to grow. During this period we exhibited in Dusseldorf and London Retail Shows. MaxTag owned its first and last racehorse which ran at Epsom, Fontwell and Plumpton.

2018

MaxTag was restructured. One of the two directors went on to start a CCTV, Access Control and AI CCTV company and Miles launched Tagmax Ltd

2019

Covid hit, Tagmax continued to trade and is proud to say we took no bank loans or loans from the government. We self funded all the way through and made no redundancies

2020

Opened our first office in London. Took on an administrator to help our FD with arranging installs and admin

2021

Opened our first warehouse with dedicated warehouseman in Southampton

2022

Started a rollout with Sunglass Hut, Oakley and Ray Ban

Revamped the TagMax website
