Clarks uses MaxTag to provide security solutions for its retail stores both in the UK and Europe

C. and J. Clark International Ltd, trading as Clarks, is a British, international shoe manufacturer and retailer based in Street, Somerset. The retailer is the number one shoe brand in the UK and also the world's largest casual and smart shoe company and the fourth largest footwear company on the planet.

Using a combination of CCTV and Security Tagging in most stores the retailer works closely with the Tagmax team to co-ordinate installations both here and in Europe.

High Resolution cameras are installed and recorded on Digital Video Recorders with an emphasis on Staff and Customer Safety. Along side the CCTV system, Tagmax installs a range of security tagging solutions depending on the location and type of store. An overhead people counting device is also installed which transmits the 'Count' to a wireless receiver in the managers office at the rear of the store and populates a software programme which displays the count as a graph or bar chart, showing traffic by the hour, day or week.
